About me
I’m an actor, dancer/physical performer, voice actor and, occasionally, a translator. I have extensive experience in performing arts for children and young audiences, as well as working in processes that combine text and movement. I’m particularly driven by the practical work in the studio and by the joy of creating with other people. My training includes two years at the renowned École Lassaâd in Brussels (a branch of the École de théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris) where I studied under first-generation Lecoq teachers such as Lassaâd Saïdi and Norman Taylor, as well as two years at the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts, where I studied voice acting and screen acting for professional actors. Over the years I’ve also had the chance to participate in more than forty professional workshops in dance and theatre. Primarily I work with independent theatre companies all across Sweden, but I’ve also created and performed my own productions, such as Frida är gravid! at Teater Brunnsgatan Fyra and Teater Galeasen, performed clown shows at French street festivals, translated plays by Eugène Ionesco, and recorded audiobooks for publishing houses such as Norstedts and Storyside. Alongside my stage work, I’ve occasionally worked as a set design assistant on several of Roy Andersson’s feature films, and studied French and Spanish at universities in Stockholm and Madrid. My most recent employment as an actor was at the Pantomimteatern in Stockholm, where I performed in two movement based productions that toured across Sweden.
